I’m not going to argue that Christmas pudding is probably one of the perfect traditional post-Christmas dinner desserts; However, it does take hours to make yourself. Of course you always have the option of buying a ready made Christmas pudding which will most likely be full of sugars and additives. What's so special about waffles? I never really saw what all the fuss was about, until now! Since hubby was given a waffle maker for his birthday, I tried it for the first time and fell in love! Pancake weekends are now referred to as waffle weekends! Don't get me wrong, I will always love my pancakes. The thing about waffles, and it's something that you can never get with pancakes, is their crispiness.

How to Make Healthy Porridge (Video)

I filmed a short video showing you how to make healthy porridge - all you need is oats, some form of liquid and a pan! Typically when I make porridge I would add some cinnamon to flavour, a mashed banana, some dried fruit (dates and raisins are my favourote!) for some natural sweetness and some nuts, seeds or nut butter for some healthy fats and a bit of crunch. To top it off, i like to add some fresh fruit, berries and whatever else I fancy on that particular day.
