Vegan Avocado Pesto Grilled Cheese A grilled cheese sandwich with a twist. The twist being this vegan avocado pesto grilled cheese toastie is SO MUCH BETTER than a plain cheese toastie. Add avocado to any sandwich and instantly it’s ten times better! Especially when paired with pesto and cheese. Since reducing my dairy intake, I haven’t really missed cheese all that much. …

Beet-a-ganoush Dip Recipe If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you’ll know of my never ending love for Hummus. What you may not know is I’m also a huge baba ganoush fan. What can I say, I was brought up in the Middle East and both dips were a big part of my diet and so have a …

Hummus is something that I eat every single day without fail! I eat it on the side of main meals with salads and cooked vegetables, and it’s also one of my go-to snacks. I like to have some peeled chopped carrots in the fridge so when I’m feeling peckish, all I have to do is open the fridge, take out the hummus and carrots and devour! I also like to have it with rice cakes when I run out of carrot sticks and I’m too lazy to peel more!
Guacamole goes with everything: salads, vegetables, meat, in sandwiches…I make so many different variations all the time depending on what ingredients I have, but mostly how lazy I’m feeling! It tastes so good and fresh simply like that, but if you’re having Mexican food (say Fajitas!) then you have to do it properly.
Do you ever get a sudden craving for a crunchy and salty snack? I do, especially when I’m watching a movie. I can’t watch a movie without snacks! If it’s not freshly made popcorn, I use this recipe to make healthy roasted chickpeas!
