Raw Chocolate & Nut Energy Bites I've recently cut out a few things from my diet including added sugar, gluten, processed foods and caffeinated drinks to try and heal my gut and reduce my anxiety levels. There are 2 things I'm really REALLY missing so far - tea and chocolate! Over the years I have developed the habit of drinking way too much black tea. I could easily drink 7 cups a day, especially when I'm home and/or in the evenings, which as you can imagine it the worst time to be drinking caffeine! Nut butters can be such a life saver in the morning. They're a great go-to option, especially on those days when you need something quick or can't be bothered thinking of something to make but still want to eat something healthy. They're a great source of vitamins, minerals, healthy fats and protein to start your day off right. They're also a great addition to porridge.
These oat & spelt crepes are very basic and easy to make. They're much higher in fibre compared to traditional crepe recipes and I've also made the recipe dairy free.
