Cheese is such a staple in the typical British diet. We use it heavily in dishes but more and more people are choosing to cut it out from their diet for a variety of reasons. Whenever I've asked a vegan what they missed most about the way they used to eat, the most common answer I get is "cheese!".

White potatoes has such a bad reputation now, along with bread, rice...etc, but I don't see anything wrong with eating potatoes every now and then as part of a balanced diet. True, sweet potato is better for you as it offers an impressive serving of vitamin A which white potato lacks, but it's still a good form of carbohydrate to include in your diet.
