Cottage Cheese Chocolate Mousse
This cottage cheese chocolate mousse is a lighter, high-protein twist on traditional chocolate mousse. Instead of being made with cream, eggs and lots of sugar, I use blended cottage cheese as the base. When whipped smooth with cocoa powder, peanut butter and maple syrup, the cottage cheese creates the perfect creamy, yet light mousse-like texture. The result is a dessert that’s rich and chocolatey but lower in fat, higher in protein, and it feels indulgent while being more nutrient-dense.
