Looking for a snack that’s not only delicious but also packed with nutrition? Enter tahini chocolate balls – a delightful blend of rich, chocolatey goodness and the creamy nuttiness of tahini, all wrapped into bite-sized, nutrient-dense treats. These little power balls are perfect for busy mornings, post-workout recovery, or a mid-afternoon pick-me-up.
Optional step - Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over a medium heat for a couple of minutes stirring continuously. This will help bring out the natural nuttiness of the seeds. Leave to cool.
Add the tahini and maple syrup to a bowl and mix to combine.
Add the oat flour, cocoa and a pinch of salt. Mix until you have a dough consistency. Shape into 10-12 balls.
Coat in the sesame seeds and enjoy!
Notes
* I always use runny Lebanese tahini. It's the most authentic and has the best texture and taste for desserts. I use this brandStore your tahini chocolate balls in an air-tight container at room temperature (for softer balls) or in the fridge for up to 4 days.
