Ingredients

  • 120ml tahini* I use this brand
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 55g oat flour
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • pinch of salt
  • sesame seeds for coating

Instructions

  • Optional step - Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over a medium heat for a couple of minutes stirring continuously. This will help bring out the natural nuttiness of the seeds. Leave to cool.
  • Add the tahini and maple syrup to a bowl and mix to combine.
  • Add the oat flour, cocoa and a pinch of salt. Mix until you have a dough consistency. Shape into 10-12 balls.
  • Coat in the sesame seeds and enjoy!

Notes

* I always use runny Lebanese tahini. It's the most authentic and has the best texture and taste for desserts. I use this brand
Store your tahini chocolate balls in an air-tight container at room temperature (for softer balls) or in the fridge for up to 4 days.
