Applesauce is a healthy, low calorie and low fat baking substitute for oil, butter and eggs. It’s also a great option for vegan baking. It works better for some recipes than others and you may need to adjust baking time when using applesauce.
On mornings when I can’t think of what to make for breakfast, I find myself with two go to options, and my choice would usually depend on the weather. If it’s warm, I will make myself a refreshing cold green smoothie. If it’s warm, I would turn to my trusted friend – mr oatmeal!
