Gluten-free Vegan Chickpea Calzone

Gluten-free Vegan Chickpea Calzone Bread, pastries and anything with a crust have always been favourite kind of meals. I could happily live on toast (spread with avocado, nut butter, jam...etc), sandwiches (with different fillings) or pizza in all forms! I've always had a love hate relationship with things like pies, pastries and pasties because to me, they're some of the most delicious things on earth! But my digestive system was never too keen.  When I'm having a bad day, I don't crave things like stews, curries, pasta...etc, I always want something flour based! When I'm stuck for dinner ideas, my go-to recipe for a while has been my gluten-free chickpea pizza because it's just so easy to make and my stomach doesn't give me a hard time [...]

Simple Hummus Recipe

Hummus is something that I eat every single day without fail! I eat it on the side of main meals with salads and cooked vegetables, and it's also one of my go-to snacks. I like to have some peeled chopped carrots in the fridge so when I'm feeling peckish, all I have to do is open the fridge, take out the hummus and carrots and devour! I also like to have it with rice cakes when I run out of carrot sticks and I'm too lazy to peel more!

Healthy Caramel chocolate Chip Chickpea Blondies – Nut-free

The secret ingredient in these blondies and what makes them healthy is – you’ve probably already guessed it – CHICKPEAS! Most of the healthy blondie recipes out there include some sort of nut butter. I wanted to create a nut free recipe for those of you allergic to nuts, and this is the result! Healthy, nut free, vegan, gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free.

Vegan Burger Recipe

I love vegetable and bean burgers. They may not taste like meat but they can be just as satisfying without leaving you feeling heavy and sluggish from the high fat and oil content. To me, normal meat burgers are a treat - one that I would only probably have once or twice a year if even that. These vegan burgers however, I would happily eat everyday!
